Super Smash Bros Brawl is the most recent addition to the mega hit Super Smash Bros Wii Commercial series. It was made along the theme of the Super Smash Brothers Melee which sold millions when it came out in the market in 2001. There are still a significant number of players playing it now. Its popularity might be attributed to the breathtaking level designs and competition it generates when played with others.
With Super Smash Bros Brawl, you can play three modes. You can play it alone, with another person or you can try the online multi-player mode. This is less complicated than other fighting games which will make it better for Nintendo players. It also uses a double-layer which is a new innovation for a Wii game.
The characters are also very familiar because they are from other Nintendo games. Super Smash Bros Brawl also gives more attention to ring-outs than knock-outs. The number of characters has expanded now with 35 as opposed to just twenty six characters in the Melee. There are also more than forty different levels. The focus in the game details is pretty obvious with an overwhelming result. Super Smash Bros Brawl is really one-of-a-kind.
Since Super Smash Bros Brawl makes use of the characters from other Nintendo games, it possible to see Super Mario fighting it out with Sonic the Hedgehog or Fox McCloud. It is indeed a sight and an experience to pit all of the familiar characters against each other.
The Super Smash Bros Brawl makes fighting very simple and unlike games such as Tekken. This will not have you remembering numerous button combinations just to do one movement. All you have to do is drive out your enemy from the fighting arena with whatever you have on hand. The fights are exciting due to the fast pace and will make you sweat.
Each of the fighters have characteristics and fighting styles that you have to keep in mind. This will clue you in on how they fight in their own respective style. You will be able to anticipate their moves thus making it easier for you to protect yourself and at the same you will know how to plan your attacks.
You also have to be familiar with the terrain since it can also affect the status of your games. There are also items which will suddenly appear, with the one who can get it first having the advantage of using it as a weapon or life support. Some of these can be found in the other Smash Brother games, but there are also some new ones introduced in Super Smash Bros Brawl. The settings can also be changed depending on your comfort level so you can eliminate some of it beforehand.
This game’s settings can be manipulated based on how strong you want the gravity to the speed and power-ups. The characters can also be made invisible or turned into a metal. You can actually even things out if you are playing with an expert. There are team modes, timed games and you can even have a tournament. Even more, this can be played online, pitting your skills against three more people. These games can even be replayed. There are classic modes and adventure modes which are worth exploring.
The graphics are stunning and highly animated complete with facial expressions. The audio of course is wonderful. The game is truly appealing to a wide range of players since it is simple enough for the beginners and challenging enough for the veterans. Overall I would rate this game a 10 out of 10!
